ESRI’s International User Conference, held this past week in San Diego, brought together users of Geographic Information Systems. ESRI is the (near monopoly) vendor of GIS software.

Launched on June 30th, the ,Geospatial One Stop program, administered by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), is supported with ESRI technology. This portal is designed to be a clearinghouse for all geospatial data and is designed to facilitate searches and construct maps through a web service.

PHP GIS Update
