“Currently, there are 1,700 Cmode vending machines installed nationwide. Cmode2 is the next generation Cmode and it accepts RFID-chipped wallet phones as well as existing 2D-barcode-based payment.
Coca-cola Japan plans to deploy about 1,000 Cmode2 vending machines in Japan by the end of this year.
