The Origins of Cyberspace auctioned at Christies

On February 23, 2005, Christie’s in New York will sell Jeremy’s Origins of Cyberspace Library. A Library on the History of Computing, Networking & Telecommunications.

Jessica Helfand describes this landmark sale in ‘Cyberspace on the auction blocks’ on Design Observer Design Observer.

The materials were collected by Jeremy Norman, a Northern California book dealer, and include manuals, sketches, journal entries, correspondence and memoranda, publications, punch cards and a host of related miscellany.
