49PM’s Photo Newsreader
February 25th, 2005

49pm released a Photo NewsReader as mobile application.

49PM’s CEO Chris Ritke writes Smartmobs: When you install it on your Java enabled mobile phone you can read the newest posts to weblog and news pages through the RSS or Atom feeds and view any associated images formatted exactly to the size of your mobile display.

The mobile application goes through a backend server that preformats the data which keeps download time to a minimum.

I like to use it with Flickr photostreams!

I’d love to hear from you what you think about the software. There’s more info, screen shots and a free download link at www.49pm.com. I’ll set you up with a free unlimited license if you’d like to use it on your phone.
