Arieanna points on ipipi blog to a BC credit union using SMS for debit card fraud detection and states they are the first in North America, and maybe even beyond.

The credit union is very small, but very innovative. I’ve just heard back an update from them, and the first month’s stats are really impressive. They have found an excellent little value-add service that’s attracting a ton of attention.
