Periodista Digital, a popular digital newspaper in Spain uses Flickr for managing and publishing images at their website.
Flickr is a very popular online service. Most of their users are individuals, but there are also some digital media that relie on Flickr to manage their pictures. For instance, Periodista Digital.
Apparently from March Periodista Digital is using Flickr for hosting, managing and publishing images at their website. Here you have some examples: News and a Picture.
Pablo Martinez-Almeida writes further: visiting Periodista Digital’s Pro account at Flickr may give you a look, in advance, to some pictures that will be posted on their site and get a preview of what the next news can be. As usual you may do this by subscribing a feed of their photostream, available as RSS 2.0 and Atom.
Pablo wonders if there are any other popular online media that use Flickr as publishing tool.
Thank you Pablo !

I’ve been using Flickr and Javascript to add wonderful pics to my site as well. I spent some time browsing for images which give me a convey a relaxing intimate space.
When I find one, I add it to my Flickr favorites. Then I use a Javascript to randomly choose one of my faves whenever the page is loaded or reloaded.
Each picture includes a link to my faves which in turn links with credit to the original contributor of that picture.
Unfortunately I need to manually enter the Internet address of each image into the Javascript rather than having it pick them automatically from my faves. But it’s worth it.
