Hundreds of mobile photos (show) and several mobile videos have surfaced documenting the moments after the four blasts.

Blogs, photo sharing websites, online news sites, and TV news used their images in the minutes and hours immediately following the attacks.

Also the Guardian covers the newsfact that ‘ordinary members of the public became cameramen and reporters, creating a “new world” of media’ and cited the BBC director of news, stating that ‘the increasing interaction between the public and broadcasters is changing media for the better’.
