Given enough data, your mobile phone may soon predict whom you will have dinner with, when you’ll leave work and whether you’re a Red Sox fan.
Wired News reports that cell phones were used in a recent project at MIT to both document and predict the lives of 100 MIT faculty and staff members. During the Reality Mining Project at MIT, Researcher Nathan Eagle logged 350,000 hours of data over nine months about the location, proximity, activity and communication of volunteers through cell phones carried by the participants.

Can you identify within all of the data when the participants would experience illness(es)during a time period? If Dr. Lo is watching the physiology of the bond trader, perhaps there is a way to monitor the physisology of the crowd and know when to “chill” for health’s sake.
