Thousands of computers in Scotland are having ‘bigotry-checkers’ installed.
Sectarian words, specific to Scotland, can be screened out by e-mail software before they reach office staff and will cause e-mails to be bounced back to the sender.
The move has come in response to fears that office workers in Scottish companies may be vulnerable to sectarian abuse by e-mail from members of the public.
