Blogs provide the guide
September 26th, 2005

The BBC reports on a survey that finds consumers are starting to use weblogs, or blogs, as guides to what they should and shouldn’t buy.”The survey suggests that blogs could soon rival other media as sources of trustworthy information about products and services. In the survey of attitudes to blogs most of those questioned, 77%, said they thought the regularly updated web journals were a useful way to get insights into the products or services they should buy.As many blogs were the work of individuals, many believed that they were more honest and reliable because they were not subject to the same marketing pressures as corporate or commercial websites”.

let me just say that i’m very surprised by this site. you’ve all done amazing work here so far and i’m interested in both seeing and being a part of what’s to come soon.

Only yesterday there was a seminar on this very topic at the Amercan Cancer Institute at the NYU Hospital premises. People were fednicely and the subject was covered by a Librarian although the subject was supposed to be related to Health issues. But mostly the librarian covered the trust worthiness of the Internet content and whether the information is obsolete.

People have come to think that they will save money by buying at ebay. I’m surprised that they buy anything elsewhere. I’m the affiliate of several trustworthy brand named retailer. But people buy nothing from my blog that covers about the need for the developement of a server related method of web surfing.

Be that as it may. This subject is being written n anywhere and everywhere. People will buy at internet whether or not they buy off my blogs.
