Squidoo, a new collaborative communication tool
October 18th, 2005

Squidoo, founded by Seth Godin, is a new collaborative tool that has just launched in a public beta version. It’s a platform that makes it easy for anyone, even a newbie, to teach people about topics they care about and it’s revenue sharing.

Squidoo makes it easy for aynone to create, share and discover meaning online. It’s a co-op of everyday experts, called lensmasters, who build lenses on topics they care about.

It’s a guide (like about.com) and a reference (like wikipedia.com). It’s a place for personal expression (like typepad.com) and an open platform for real people (like del.ico.us).

And along with the online launch, an ebook is available since Friday, called Everyone’s an Expert. You can get it for free, here (pdf).
