Call Register
November 4th, 2005

“Call Register” is a 13 minute short touching on mobile phones and identity. “The fantastic Martin Freeman and James Lance star in this brilliant short film from Ed Roe. Kevin (Freeman) has met a girl and wants to call her, but without giving away his number should she rebuff him.”

In movies anything can happen. But even in real life anything can happen and will happen if you are a star and have a followin of fans. They would want to talk to the star whether ornot he gives them their phone number.

That is besides the point. Should a person be able to call without his number being on caller ID is another matter. eople should demand that the callers id Be displayed on caller ID because otherwise harrassment calls will pajague some innocent person. I’m that innocent person. I’m being plagued by some nut for the last twenty five years. I’ve opened accounts under the assumed name. But the brother of the harrasser works in the telephone Company and finds out my number because Telephone company wants to know the SSN of all its clients.
