Egyptian Culture of Change
November 15th, 2005

“Mobile phones have created a complete culture change in communication.”

This is the observation of Pravin Prashant, assistant editor of India’s leading telecommunications magazine Voice and Data. The comment is from the article here describing the point recently passed in Egypt to where there are more cellphones in use than landlines. I can’t resist thinking how ideal the tops of pyramids would be for transmitters and wondering what the great Ramses might have thought about that.
