I have always wanted one of these and I wondered when someone would invent it.
Other than USB the shirt is powered by four AA batteries or your car’s cigars socket. This ingenious idea is the brain child of Kouzi Ichigaya an ex Sony technician. At present half sleeve shirts for men and women are available with this unique system in Japan.
I needed a shirt like that over the weekend when we had 95 degrees in NYC; there are places where you might be and there’s no air conditioning, like my studio at BAG where great space exists to paint but it’s hot. In the future we won’t have to worry about where we are if we have Air Conditioner Clothes.

Hi,
Your USB Air Conditioned Shirt is nice.
cheers….lizzie

For work in hot stuffy environs, I would suggest a headband, filled with the same material they use in disposable diapers, soaked in icewater. They are available at sporting goods stores, and it will seem at least 10 degrees cooler to you.

i think it would be great for people who work in stuffy factories. but i personally would never wear one in public.
by the way, they cost about 100 dollars. which is pretty pricey…or not, for keeping cool.

WAC – Wearable Air Condition
First I thought it's nonsense but then.. My second thought was that I need this shirt right now. It's around 90 or more degree here for the last two weeks. This shirt is air conditioned and gets power via USB…

My son and I tend to “overheat”, perhaps due to medications. The shirt is a clever solution. Do u think they may eventually produce AC pants as well? If clothing can be successfully air conditioned, global warming may be less of a looming problem, at least for humans. For that matter, if proven cost effective we could air condition the surviving wildlife as well. Hurray for Japanese ingenuity!
