Visualize word frequency in any document up to 100 kb: upload it or paste it into Tagcrowd, and voila. Here’s the first chapter of Smart Mobs (”Shibuya Epiphany”):
I would like someone to make a comparison between the “tags” that are “words that are present in the text” and “tags” that are the metadata that people choose to categorise the texts with. A potential topic for a student paper for those close to academia. Grab a bunch of well-tagged texts on del.icio.us and compare the tags there to the automatic tags of Tagcrowd or Yahoo Term Extractor.

Good point. I don’t know how useful it is to equate tags with word frequency.
