“Nearly 40 per cent of Irish households with internet access are using some form of broadband service, reports Irish communications regulator ComReg,”this DMeurope article says. “The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) has published a survey of residential telecommunications customers. The survey of 1,000 people, aged between 15 and 74, found that 39 per cent of home-internet users now subscribe to a broadband package, and that digital subscriber line (DSL) is the most commonly used broadband access technology”.
