Openmind 2006 conference (programme) was held once again on 25th of October by COSS in Tampere, Finland. Teemu Tarina was there to blog and to check out the speaker lineup, including people from Google, Trolltech, IBM, Wikimedia, Magnatune, Liferay, Novell, CSIR and Nokia.

Along with the expected Open Source and Open Content themes, Web 2.0 was one of the central themes this year. Open Source has enabled a lot of innovation in the Web 2.0 spectrum.

Teemu setup a service called OpenmindSpace that aggregates blog posts, Flickr images and del.icio.us links.
