What a terrific way to avoid the unfolding paper instructions that come in a ‘needs a little bit of assembly’ box:

a system that is capable of presenting small amounts of instructions at the right time & at the right place while assemblying furniture. a standard (IKEA-style) flatpack wardrobe is extended with light emitting diodes (LED’s) on each board. these LED lights display the assembly instructions in a proactive way by adapting the information with each movement the user makes.
