NewsTrust goes public
November 29th, 2006

NewsTrust, a project in online readers rating news articles based on journalistic quality, has just gone public. Fabrice Florin invited me and a bunch of others a few months ago to jumpstart the service - it proved to be both an interesting experience, and another good place to go for news filtered by a community. They are now accepting sign-up members on the front page.

I highly recommend NewsTrust. It’s badly needed, and right now, what they need is a critical mass of participants who care about accuracy, fairness, and integrity of news reporting — people from all parts of the political spectrum.
