France’s answer to CNN, promoted by Jacques Chirac himself, was launched last night on national television. France 24 goes live December 7, in English, French and Arab. (Some technicals problems this morning though - should be ironed out soon)
UPDATE: Apologies to France24, there are not technical glitches, the website only goes live tonight at 8:30pm (GMT+1).

There seems to be a problem the web broadcast is no longer available just as default page with non functioning video, at least here in Canada. A pity because the first 2 days of web broadcast were quite well presented.
