This DMeurope article says “25 per cent of Finns used their mobiles to access the internet in 2006, reports market research firm Satama. Satama conducted a survey called Mobile Media Tracking, published in January 2007, which reviewed the role of mobile devices in marketing, service provision and media convergence in Finland. The survey was commissioned by the Finnish Direct Marketing Association (Finnish DMA). Over 1,500 Finns aged between 15 and 64 took part in the survey. According to the survey, the use of MMS messaging grew from 29 per cent to 41 percent in 2006. 25 per cent percent of respondents had accessed websites with their mobile phones and 31 per cent had used their mobiles to react to programmes or advertising on TV or radio. Last year, the percentage was 26″.
