The device of the smart mob is the mobile phone. A major annual global event on these devices is wrapping up today in Barcelona. To catch highlights of the best at the show, the 3GSM World Congress Global Mobile Awards for 07, presented at the event, are listed here. My fave is the event’s highest award, the GSMA Chairman’s Award 2007 given to Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim. His story is remarkable, as set out at the bottom of the page of awards and summarized this way:
