10 Zen Monkeys demonstrates a new web technology by heckling TV stars and offering incisive commentary. BubblePly just launched in January, and along with China’s Mojito it could revolutionize online video. Suddenly video is permeable; anyone can impose their own thoughts (and images) into the footage, then embed the resulting video on their web page.

The last wall is broken. But it’s more than just making the entire web community into the equivalent of the audience at the “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” As the founders of BubblePLY said in a promotional video on their site: “I believe that one day everyone will be able to express themselves — on top of a moving picture.”
