Groundbreaking moblogging community project with TV broadcasting in the UK
March 30th, 2007

The mobile community startup moblogUK Technology has licensed it’s ‘Participation Toolkit’ moblogging product to it’s first platform client, Channel 4.

[Thanks to Alfie Dennen from London, for filling me in via Twitter on this project, that is expected to go live next Monday!!]

The Participation Toolkit will be used to create a community preceding the airing of a new reality TV programme factual arts series which follows the process of commissioning 6 pieces of public art around the UK and how the local communities get involved; ‘The Big Art Project’.

The tv series will be the culmination of a year long online and mobile community, and likely to prove to be one of the biggest social media projects undertaken in the UK to date.
