I wrote about Amish use of mobile phones for Wired magazine 8 years ago and got this in my email yesterday:
Howard:
Read your 1999 item in WIRED about Amish and cell phones. Seems like the bishops still have not decided against the phones for their flocks.
My husband was at a local “MUDBOG” truck competition, taking personal photos of the trucks and engines. This event takes place on Route 222 south of Lancaster A place called “The Buck” where there are tractor pulls or car or truck competitions on a weekly basis.
He was photographing the men running through the mud, after the trucks made their way through. Little did he know that the youngster Amish in front of him were snapping photos for their friends.

Thanks for sharing the picture. Very smartmobby and illustrative for the younger amish generation embracing technology. The beautiful evening colours make it even more impressive.
