The Social Networking Conference in San Francisco would have been something I’d have attended had it been in New York City, or if I had known about it much beforehand (The Mobile Social Networking Conference took place July 26th - July 28th in SF).  A list of presentations (though not the content or podcasts of the presentations) is presented here.

Meanwhile, the Chatterbox Social Network Message Board seems like a good place to pick up information about new developments in Social Media (and it appears this Social Network Message Board was active in 2004 since some of the members go back that far).

I’ll probably attend the next US Based Conference in Miami USA   next January (2008) as the goals of Social Networking dovetail with much of what my Social Media and Community Committee at the Web Analytics Association deals with.
