Myths about the internet and Web 2.0 opportunities
November 24th, 2007

Via Twitter the italian web enterpreneur, blogger and television anchor Marco Montemagno shared the link to this talk “Myths about the internet and Web 2.0 opportunities“.

Marco Montemagnos talk was held in Milan Italy, on november 7th 2007, during Interactive Advertising Bureau Forum. David Weinberger was a speaker there too.

6.000 registered users this year at the IAB Forum (!) 2/3.000 people in the hall (people in the hall had a standing ovation applauding the Web, in the middle of the speech!).

It’s an “educational” speech about internet myths in Italy (how is the situation in other european countries?) and Web 2.0 opportunities for companies (but it is more fun than it sounds…).

Few myths “debunked”: internet is dangerous, internet is for porn, internet isolate you, internet is unreliable, internet is difficult, internet is virtual…

Here it is possible to watch the talk from an other angle, showing more of the images appearing.
