Questioning Technology in 1991

In the Winter, 1991 issue of Whole Earth Review, which I edited, the theme was “Questioning Technology.” When looking for an article by Langdon Winner, recommended by the late Steve Cisler, my friend James Jacobs unearthed this old Tom Tomorrow cartoon, which introduced that issue. I later wrote an extended essay about “what technophiles need to know.”
