It’s the Internet Stupid
June 9th, 2009

Several noted contributors to information sharing, communities, and the internet issued a comment on the National Broadband Plan to be delivered to Congress on February 17, 2010.

Simplified the comment explains to the FCC, that “Broadband is not the Internet.” and goes on to explain the differences between Broadband and the internet. The signators also call for the FCC to create this plan molded to the Internet. Which in facts, supports all the requirements of the National Broadband Plan: ““job preservation and creation, infrastructure investment, energy efficiency and science, assistance to the unemployed,” et cetera”

It’s the signatories believe that making the Internet accessible to everyone achieves the goals set forth by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). If you wish to read the entire comment and note your support, you can find the comment and add your name to the list of signers at It’s the Internet Stupid.
