Help expose bad journalism — and fight the spin that is spreading in the news media and on the Internet.
This week, NewsTrust is organizing a ‘News Hunt for Bad Journalism’ to identify news reports and opinions that are inaccurate, biased, irresponsible or superficial. They will be joined by journalism students from the University of Santa Clara, and cable news shows and flawed journalism from both sides of the aisle. You can follow the News Hunt in progress on their site.
To guide their reviewers, NewsTrust has republished my article ‘Crap Detection 101′ on their site, as part of their news literacy education program
Help fight the spin and join their News Hunt — this is a great opportunity to expose publications that fail to uphold the journalistic standards that citizens rely on.
