One of the most compelling chapters [in my opinion] of Smart Mobs: The Next Social Revolution focuses on How to Recognize The Future When It Lands On You.  Long time friend of SmartMobs Jamais Cascio, who spends much time pondering upon the future, had delivered an incredibly inspiring talk at the Lift Conference last week.  Jamais argues that we are “Wired for Anticipation” and that the future(s) we anticipate are very much in our hands, especially when it lands on us.
