Ägypten hat den Zugang zum Internet gekappt. Große Telekommunikationsfirmen wie Vodafone Egypt haben sich augenscheinlich zum Handlanger der Regierung gemacht.
The connection to the Internet has been [blocked] capped in Egypt. Global telecommunication companies such as Vodafone have apparently become [been made] agents of the [Egyptian] government.
Twitter und Facebook sind blockiert, fast alle Internetverbindungen offline. Auch verschiedene Mobilfunk-Netze funktionieren nicht. Ägyptens Machthaber haben offensichtlich alle inländischen Internet Service Provider angewiesen vom Netz zu gehen. Die Regierung hatte angekündigt, am Freitag würden keine Proteste geduldet - auch nicht im Internet.
Twitter and Facebook are blocked, almost all Internet connection are offline. Also, various mobile providers are not operating. Egypt’s rulers seem to have all domestic Internet service providers to close services to the Internet. The government had announced on Friday no protests would be tolerated - not even on the web.

i think this is really unfair that the people of Egypt don’t the right to speak out and voice their opinions of the issues occuring in their country. I think it demonstrates the control the governement has over the actions of its people and suggests their fear of retaliation
