Now in beta, OpenNearMe is featured on The Next Web’s list of “This Week’s Most Talked About” Social Media. TNW says: “This is just in beta at the moment, but its potential is huge. OpenNearMe.com tells you which stores / shops are open at any time of the day in any area specified by you.”

I tested OpenNearMe out here in the West Texas town of El Paso where I live, and it worked. The choices for food were still very limited, but my guess is a listing for Rosa’s Cantina is only some beta testing away.
