Gathered around the last major golf tournament of 2011 are these eight forms of media: PGA website, TV, Snap TV highlights, iPhone app, Mobile Web, radio, Twitter, Facebook. Mashable has an article today describing media mob.
By my count, only three of the media covering the PGA Champtionship listed in the article even existed ten years ago. One can only wonder what the coverage will be in another ten years. Will it consolidate into perhaps a hologram of the action we can let play out on our coffee table? Will it diversify into many more kinds of coverage?
Think about this too: Print coverage is not even mentioned by Mashable. Did you notice that?
