What a social media kill switch will kill

“A social media kill switch might also kill off our communities…” writes Tony Hallett, silicon.com’s publisher. He is a resident of a London neighborhood that experienced riots last week. His article is titled: Why a disconnected society is far more dangerous than a connected one.

Mr. Hallett’s bottom line: “Of course communication, like a lot of other things, is used by the bad guys as much as the good ones. But I bet we can use it better.”
