“Three public parks are to offer free Internet access through WiFi ‚Äòhot spots’ by the end of the year as part of the ‚Äòi-Parks’ initiative, a first in Qatar,”the Gulf Times reports.Further,”mainly targeting tourists, citizens, students and families, the “i-Parks” will play a significant role in promoting tourism, empowering people, improving public services and fostering economic development, ictQATAR said in a statement. “Internet parks are the wave of the future and Qatar will become a part of this global trend and provide Internet access to all citizens,” i-Parks project manager at ictQATAR, Mohamed al-Emadi said”.
