Presidential hopeful John Edwards jumped his own announcement of his plans to campaign in 2008, scheduled for today, by posting a video on YouTube yesterday in which he pre-empts the news.
Edwards’ appeal is for Americans to join his OneCorps campaign, and his call-to-action is to do so either on his Web site or via SMS (text ‘hope’ to 30644). He makes sure to ask viewers to forward his message to friends.
And it seems to be working. The enthusiastic feedback on his YouTube page runs very much toward “you’ve got my vote.”

John Edwards co-sponsored the massive increase in H-1b visas that blew away tech as an upwardly mobile career for Americans - it’s never recovered from this massive betrayal
He also favored benefits for illegal aliens, that drive down wages of our poorest americans
he voted for the iraq war, that send our poorer young people to their deaths in iraq
And he voted for the patriot act, which threatens the Consititution
He’s a first class jerk.

John Edwards knows a lot about poverty, after all, he’s helped throw a lot of people into it with:
- his co-sponsorship of H-1b visas,
- his support for illegal aliens,
- his vote for MFN-China
but what about stuff like iraq war and the patriot act?
well, he voted for them too
About the only think you can say for Edwards is, he spent so much time running for president that he didnt have time to do more damage as senator
