I just had a look at this. The first thing it gives you is a barrier to entry. I.e., I have to go back to the web site in order to register so that I can use it on my mobile. Surely this is not joined-up thinking…?

Enter http://m.twitter.com/home direct on your cellular and it will work as it is meant. Somehow only on a desktop computer one gets the barrier to entry.

If you don´t have a browser enabled phone you can still twitter from your mobile, as long as it has Java, just try the free tweeter:
