Stephanie was born and raised in the gorgeous San Francisco Bay Area, and moved to divine Providence, RI in January of 09. She holds a B.A. from Stanford in Science, Technology, and Society, and an M.S. from UC Berkeley in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management with a master’s thesis on emerging uses of social media for environmental governance. She works independently as a social media strategist and blogger, though folks in Providence know her as ‘the Pecha Kucha lady.’ She has somewhat of an obsession with blindfoldedness, like playing drum kit with her eyes closed, showering in the dark (hence the name of her personal blog), and eating dans le noir.
