Stephanie was born and raised in the gorgeous San Francisco bay area. She received a B.A. from Stanford in Science, Technology, and Society with a self-designed concentration in Experience Design, after which she worked professionally in new media and interactive education. She's currently a graduate student at UC Berkeley, writing her thesis on the use of participatory media for consumer governance, which she grotesquely refers to as: socially networked consumer ludo-governance (must elaborate a more palatable term). She has somewhat of an obsession with blindfolded activities, like playing drum kit with her eyes closed and eating dans le noir.
